Kels is currently at Caleres, Inc. as lead creative for Naturalizer + Dr. Scholl’s Shoes brands as an Associate Creative Director. She’s a manager + mentor to five other designers and art directors.

Process obsessed, she is constantly looking for ways to improve and streamline workflows so her teams can be the most creative versions of themselves. Being a mentor and leader is truly one of her greatest joys of her role. In the last few years, working with production crews in LA + NYC has provided some great friends, amazing experiences, and a laundry list of inside jokes. Collaboration with open and tenacious creatives is one of her top priorities in any role that comes across her desk.

When she’s not in the studio, she’s taking pictures of her mutt, Samson and rescue kitten, Gigi. She is also taking a Film Producing course through New York Film Academy. Her 10 year plan is to become a film producer based in California.
